Not sure what exactly it's called.......but ~ where the edges of the paper look brown, worn, torn and slightly curled.

How do you do it?

I looked and couldn't find a thread anywhere......if I missed it just please post it for me.... T.I.A.

Well, I don't know how to 'officially' do it,, but

I did some b'day invitations for my daughter's fairy tale party and made scroll invites. I hand tore the edges, *of a beige-y color paper *resume weight* then I used a darker brown-y ink and inked the edges so that it looked 'old'

An old and handy trick is to tea dye it- just make a brew of cool tea and put your paper in it, the darker you want it, the stronger the tea and the longer it stays in. Then dry it-- if you want that really crinkled look, you can wad it up before you put it in the water, then the stain will really show around those folds. And for additional 'authenticity' if you dry it at least partially with a hair dryer it gets a little more warped. Also, for a cool look, after the pages are dried you can (carefully) just burn the edges with a lit votive candle (believe me, no lighters!!!!) Hope that helps!
