Here is a fun technique. You can make page and card embellishments very easily. Here is what you need:

Shrink Plastic (I used Polyshrink from my LSS)
Stamp (I used a bee from the Stampin' Up! Just Buzzin' By set)
Markers or colored pencils
Stazon ink pad
Punch (you can use a die cut machine or cut your own shape)
Embossing Gun
Something to hold the plastic while heating it (I used a tweezers and a dry emboss tool)

Stamp your image with a Stazon ink pad and color in image.

Punch out image

Using tweezers (or something to hold plastic - that wont melt) heat the plastic with the embossing gun. The plastic will curl up and then it will lay flat.

I made a really quick video to show you how it shrinks. Just click on the image.

Add to page or card! Have fun! Can't wait to see what you come up with!!!

Do you use colored ink or versamark? you said versamark but it looks like you used black ink.

No big deal. This is awesome I can't wait to try it! Do they have the shrinky stuff at Michaels or Hobby Lobby? My LSS went out of buisness!

go to the website to see if there is a store near you.

LuckySquirrel.com

You can get different colors of it too.

You could make magnets, pins, necklaces, etc. It would be cute to make a pin and then matching card and/or gift bag.

I remembered last night as I was laying in bed that Swishina posted this thread about using plastic containers. Make shrinky-dink reusing #6 plastic

This has been on my to-do-list for awhile. I have some shrinky dink sheets left over from when I was ~12 (my mom is such a pack rat). I never thought to use my heat gun though.
