You need your acrylic stamps, ink, acrylic block, and cardstock.

Put your stamp onto your block... it will stick on its own.

Ink up your stamp (mine is in blue)

Line up your stamp on your cardstock and press firmly and evenly...

Don't forget to clean your stamps!!! A baby wipe will work. I use the stampin scrub from stampin up.

When I got my acrylic stamps I was so excited to use them that I didn't wait for the block. I remembered being told that some people stored their acrylic stamps in CD covers. So I grabbed a CD cover, and took it apart. I stuck my stamp to the outside (with the edges ofthe CD cover up so that I could hold on to them) and started stamping. They are clear like acrylic blocks so you can see through them. Worked just great for me!!!!

I read on a web site that the acrylic stamps will stick to any non-pourous purpose. My guess is that glass or plastic would work (but I haven't tried glass yet)!

So don't let those stamps get dusty while you are waiting to get that block!!!

I noticed that you said use a baby wipe on them to clean them and was wondering if anyone has heard that using baby wipes on them will cause them to crack? I have heard that the wipes ( if they have alcohol in them ) will cause the stamps to break down and I dont want to ruin them. Just wondering if anyone has heard this and if anyone knows anything about it?

Yes, that is TRUE. Dont use baby wipes with alcohol. I really recommend getting a stamp cleaner. Not to plug too much... but the one from Stamin Up is awesome. Before I became a consultant.. being the frugal scrapper I am.. I thought.. Im not buying that.. I can get it at Michaels for like $9!! So I went and bought it. And it SUCKED. It was bad. So I took it back and spent $15 on the SU one. Ive had it ever since. It has one side to spray the cleaner ($3.95) and then clean your stamp, then the other side to dry it. Im sure there are others out there... but I love mine.
