Default How To: Mat/Frame Pictures

You need a trimmer, pictures, and adhesive.



After you choose the color you want the frame.. I usually place my picture on the corner of the paper. Depending on how thick you want your mat/fram to be.. adhere it down.





You can measure if you want. I "eye" it and trim the edge.



Do the same to the bottom...



And there you have it!

Yeah, its super simple.. and once you do it a million times.. it becomes 2nd nature and you'll mat everything!!! Multiple times. lol When asked what my favorite technique is.. I usually say sponging or something.. but I always forget about matting... I ALWAYS mat!

Ember......thanks for all these "how to" posts. I never mat my pictures because I didn't know how.............yet you make it look so simple. Please post some more "how to" ideas.......I love them.

I always mat all of my pictures, I was afraid it might be overkill, but you say you ALWAYS mat? Do you ever not mat? I'm afraid to try not matting.
