You will need:
a stamp
versamark or embossing ink
embossing powder
something to catch the excess powder (I use the blue tray and a stiff bristled paintbrush)
cardstock
a heat tool

stamp your image w/the versamark (wouldn't pick it up on a pic)
holding it over the tray pour embossing powder over it until completely covered (you will have ALOT of excess if you're like me)
tap the cardstock w/your finger to make sure all excess is off
It should look like this after those steps:

Using the heat tool slowly move it over the image until the powder melts.
Don't hold it in one place too long or you'll scorch the cardstock
The finished image:

I hope that helps.

I need to get a verse mark pad sooo bad! It looks like it works a lot better than the embossing pads.

Very well explained

I love my versamark. It's very cool for making a watermark look on cards, too.

Jess - great instructions! However, someone gave me an Embossing stylus...what do I use it for or with or whatever?

A stylus is usually a tool that is used for dry embossing. This is where you use a stencil and a light table to make a raised image on your paper. I hope this helps.
