Sorry, but how do you start scrapbooking? What kind of books do you use?
What do I need to buy to start? Where do I buy it?
Sorry for all the questions.

You need a scrapbook album with page protectors. You can buy all of your supplies at any craft store like Michaels, Joanns, or Hobby Lobby.

You need to decide what size you want to do. 12x12 is most popular. Theres also 8 1/2x11, 8x8, and 6x6.

Basic tools and items you need are: Scissors, a personal trimmer, adhesive (glue sticks or tape runners), cardstock and/or patterned paper, stickers and any embeliishments you want to use on your pages. Make sure all of your items are acid and lignin free so they dont turn your pictures yellow over time.

You get better over time.. so dont be scared! Just jump in and youll be a pro before you know it!

Another great way to start is to buy one of those premade scrapbook kits. It will have most of the items that you need to start and you can always buy more to add to it. When I started scrapping I also went to a local scrapbook store and just looked around and learned so much from the ladies that worked there. I also got to see different types of styles and products. Most scrap stores have crops and classes that can really teach you a lot so you should look into those also. And dont forget you can always learn a lot here. Just ask the great ladies on here and you are sure to find the answers. Good luck and cant wait till you are scrapping with us.

Thank you EmberNevill and Mommyof3!
I live in a small town so we really don't have craft stores or scrapbooking stores. I guess I'll try and get out of town later next week.
I look into getting one of the scrapbooking kits. That way I don't have to wander through the store looking for the right tools and books.
