~~ it's more of a cardmaking thing than a scrapbooking thing, but it seemed fitting for this area.

How is it best to use chalk on your cards? I have seen it as a background, or coloring in a stamp and wondered how to do it? A q-tip? your finger? Any technique advice?? Also, how do you keep it from rubbing off on other things once you have done it??

I use the little q-tip looking applicators, sponge daubers, and my fingers depending on what I'm doing. It really doesn't "bleed" or "spread" that I've noticed. If you're using a stamp, then just stamp it w/ink and fill in the places you want to w/chalk. And it can work on sb pages.

I actually have some chalk pencils ( they look like colored pencils but are chalk ) and use them. I have also used little Q-tip like applicators that I got at the craft or scrapbook store.

I have chalk.. from SU but I never use it. So... lol But yeah.. when I do use it.. its on cards. Q-tips are good.
