I know Ive posted my ribbon storage before. But I have to share again.. cause I just spent a while organizing and making it nice and neat! How long it will stay that way.. probably not long.. but check it out!

Ive been thinking about getting stick pins to keep the ribbon from hanging down and becoming a big mess. But didnt really want stick pins around the house. For obvious reasons. So I decided to just use a little tape runner on the end and it works perfect!!!

I realized that I use A LOT of regular black and white grosgrain and TONS of gingham! Probably my favorite embellishment... RIBBON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My goal is to fill them up completely! And I just bought another one! LOL:happy dance:

I really like those, Ember. I have the shelf I made plus two plastic canisters to store my ribbon. And the stampin' up carousel for my ink.

I can paint them right? You think? I mean.. they are just regular wood. I want to paint them to match my scrapbooking room.

Ember where did you get these shelves? I have been looking for something like this. Did you make them or buy them?

TIA
Kim

I would think that you could paint them but I think I would try to find a spray paint that will match your wall color so that you get a thin even coat on them.

when painting wood it's best to do a primer first, sand them, mix the primer and paint (50-50), sand it again, then paint. Sounds like a lot of work, but it's the best way to make sure it's not going to peel off.
