I usually only crop in the comfort of my own home where I have a steady supply of Dr. Pepper, cries for attention (from the boys, husband, and dog), and laundry. I want to start going to monthly crops but am not sure what I should take, what the best way to organize my stuff is, etc. I have never gone to one for fear I will leave something ever so important at home. Suggestions?

I had the SAME problem! I was informed that you figure out what page(s) you want to make and bring the nessisary(sp?) equipment/paper/embelishments for that/those pages I wanted to make two cards and start my christmas cards, but I ended up bringing all of my scrapbook booty-DONT DO THAT! Too much to carry, not enough room on the table etc. Just plan out your pages and bring what ya need Have fun!

Lol. Yeah. You all should've seen Jamie, with her big old rolling tote thing and another big old bag! She looked like she was leaving for a long vacation, not 2 hours of cropping!

Ah. Plan pages out ahead of time. What a novel idea, lol. Do you put the pieces in individual packet thing-a-ma-jigs then so it is all together or just toss it in your tote and go? Since this is "Quality Me Time For Me Only," I want to make the most of it! For all weekend crops would you go ahead and take as much as possible? Thanks for the advice. It is much appreciated.

(Now I just have to conquer (sp?) the few other attendees will think I'm a nut case when they see my disorganized chaos that I produce my best work from!)

I just went to a four hour crop two weekends ago, and I had a blast. I premade my pages and created little kits for each one. I then packed each kit into its own little compartment in my crop tote. I also took some extras that I could use to make cards and such should I run out of kits. I actually got 6 layouts done before I ran out of time. Are you going to someones home or a store to crop? The good thing about store crops is that if you do get there and need something you can buy it.
