I saw Jess put a thread on heat embossing, but what about just regular embossing. My mil gave me an embosser (I think) She told me that's what it was, but I have no idea if it really is or how to do it. Somebody help please!

Its so easy.. you are basically tracing.. use the stencil like thing.. with the pen like embossing stylus (with the little ball like tip) and trace the image of the stencil to make a raised image on your paper..

Yup thats what I do! Ember said it perfect, I have one of those embossing kits and they are so easy to use. I do however find that I dont like to work with patterned paper as much as I like to use vellum. To me the embossing shows up much better and I love the look it gives. In my layout I just posted I used my embossing pad to make the little presents at the bottom of the page.
