For major scrapbooking, what is the best adhesive?

I used to only scrap at a crops, hosted by a Creative Memories consultant, so I bought her tape runners, which are great, but expensive, but she didn't charge for crops if you purchased items, so it kind of paid for itself.

Fast forward a few years and I am playing major catch up and only working at home. What is your favorite and where do you buy it? Order online? I need a lot for the amount of pages I am going to do. I want a good product for a fair price - I know I don't want to buy it at Dollar Tree or somewhere like that.

There are so many at Hobby Lobby, and two different ones haven't worked. I also bought a refill online for the creative memories but I screwed it up getting it in the case. I have the problem of being really creative, but not mechanically inclined...so maybe something easy to use as well! THANKS!!!

I really like the tombo mono permanent adhesive tape runner. It works easy and I have found the best place to buy the refills very reseasonable is scrapbookpal.com. They even offer free shipping if you order $25 so I just stock up on refills when I order. The dispenser is about $7 to start with and then refills are like $3 something. I also bought a Vario Herma tab runner which spits out the double-sided adhesive tabs and it works great also. The best place for those refills is the website I mentioned above also. Good luck and I hope you find something that works great for you!!

I use the permanent tombo too. I have some friends that use the tape runners from wal mart.. I think you get 3 in a pack. Pretty cheap. Seem to work well.

I have been using Ad Tech's Perm. Glue runner. It seems to work OK. WalMart is the closest thing to me and they sell it so....I buy it It's about $5 for the inital runner and case and then $2.50-ish for the refill package (includes 2).

I have also used the double sided tape from The $1 store and have had good luck with it too.

TomboMono permanent tape runners for me. They are fairly inexpensive at Hobby Lobby or JoAnns's. Personally, I hated the WalMart brand. I tried it one time and the next time I opened my album that particular page was all in the bottom of the page protector. GRR.
