Hello ladies, I started scrapbooking when I was pregnant and was making a pregnancy scrapbook. I ended up going on bedrest and never finishing the book. Now, 3 years later, I want to get going on DS' scrapbook before I get any further behind. So, my question is, do you think I should finish the pregnancy book first or go ahead and start on the baby book?

Also, where can I find the 'sketches' I've seen referenced on other posts? Before, I went to crops which were really beneficial to me since I could get help from some of the old pros but I think this time around I am going to have to find time to do it at home on my own.

Hello!

Coming from someone who is always scraping different "books", I say scrap what ever you want. What ever you are in the mood for.

There are tons of sketch sites, I think there is a thread somewhere with some links, I will try to post it here for you.

And check out the Challenge forum HERE, there are lots of sketches there too.

For starters this is one of my favorite sketch sites:

Hello! I agree with Stacey that you should do whatever you feel....maybe pregnancy journal one day and more recent scrapbook the next. I am also thinking that you might want to do the more recent photos because you are likely to remember them better and journaling might come easier and work your way back.

Feel free to ask if you have any questions or want suggestions. We are all willing to help out around here.

We have at least one challenge each week so that can help keep the juices flowing and check out the gallery here. You will find some great page ideas from the work of the ladies here on the MS board.

Good luck and can't wait to see some of your pages!

I got really bogged down trying to scrap in chronological order. Now - I scrap by theme. If I find cute paper that match certain pics I have, I work on that. Sometimes I stick to an event, holidays, etc. Eventually, I'll organize the pages in chronological order, but I no longer feel like I have to create them in order.

I would definitely think about doing a "family" album instead of revolving the album around your child. I did the kid thing and now 3 kids later.. each with their own scrapbook... its REALLY tough to get and stay caught up! I wish I would have just done family albums!!!
