Hi, I've never posted on this forum before and never scrapbooked either. I haven't even gotten my oldest dd's baby book finished. I'm a terrible procrastinator when it comes to pictures, photo albums, etc. When do you scrap? When the kids are asleep? Do you allott yourself a certain amt. of time? I would love to start doing this. I want to be able to open our photo albums full of pictures and not freak out when the kids find my "box" of photos I haven't yet done anything w/. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, meaning if I can't do it well or perfectly, I give up before I've started. Any suggestions?

When I have time and the mood hits - I scrap. No rigid schedule. I'm flexible and realize that some days, weeks, months, I'll be more productive than others. I too have the "BOX" - but I have found it very freeing to get rid of the expectation that I must scrap every picture chronologically. Indeed, it is my goal to scrap it all, but I work on layouts that interest me at the time. In fact, what I'm currently working on is a Christmas layout - even though I have scrapped DS first or second Christmas yet. So his 3rd Christmas being scrapped at the end of April, while it doesn't seem logical, the system is working for me.

Glad you are getting into scrapping.... you'll get lots of wonderful ideas and encouragement from the ladies here.

I scrap in the evening. I get the girls to bed and Sajid gets to stay up an hour later than the rest so he plays on the computer with dad or watches tv and I scrap from about 8-10. This isn't every night but that is when I try to do it. i also try to get some done during the weekday around nap time if nothing else is pressing to get done.

Whenever I have time. I do find I'm more of an evening scrapper, though. And I don't scrap chronologically either. I scrap what I want when I want.

I scrap whenever the girls let me. Sometime it is during the day when they are playing. Most of the time it is at night. I feel more creative in the evening and late hours. Dh is also very good about letting me "play" when he is home.
