New Mommysavers Profile + Community Features

With our new software upgrade, the Mommysavers forums now have great new member profile features! It's very similar to Facebook or MySpace. You create a profile, and members can leave a message on your "wall." You can befriend fellow members and upload photo albums. You decide who sees your profile - anyone, only registered members, or those you designate as friends only. To access your own profile and start creating it, simply click on your name in the "Members" box above. Or, to view all the members, visit this link:

Our new "Community" features also allows us to create new social groups, public and private. You'll be able to join public groups and have behind-the-scenes conversations with members only. To check them out, visit this link:

I'm still in the process of figuring out how all this will work, but it appears to be exciting stuff! Next up for a makeover... our blog section. Stay tuned!

One question - what is the "tags" box under teh new reply button?

The "tags" feature will allow you to enter keywords in your thread to make finding them much easier. For example, if your thread is a question about shopping at a certain store like Target, Old Navy or Aldi you can add that tag. Then, if you click on the tag itself all the other threads that have been tagged with the same keyword will pop up. I was doing some Aldi research yesterday, and tagged a few threads.
