Have you checked out our new Social Groups feature? Mommysavers Social Groups will allow members to create specific groups based on their hobbies, interests, lifestyles and geographic locations. These groups are designed to pick up where the forums leave off and create a smaller, more intimate group to discuss things that are relevant to you.

If you create a group, here are a few things to keep in mind.

• If you're creating a regional group, realize if you're too specific your group won't attract enough members. (Try to go with states instead of cities)
• Be sure to leave your group "public" if you want other members to join.
• Consider linking to your group in your signature or mentioning it within the forums if you want to attract new members.
• If you want your group to have a more intimate feel, consider making it a "private" group. Private group topics are only viewable by members approved by the group owner (no lurkers allowed).
