I made these for my mom's 60th birthday "fiesta" (mexican food themed!). I got the recipe from one of Paula Deen's cookbooks and these were the best margaritas I've had. People were raving about them and we even ran out of tequila!

1- 6oz can limeade, frozen concentrate
3/4 C tequila
1/4 C Triple Sec (orange liqueur)
Fresh lime slices
salt

Place limeade in the blender. Add the tequila (fill empty limeade can) and the triple sec to the limeade in the blender. Fill with ice and blend.

Take lime slice and rub it around the rim of a glass. Dip the glass in salt. Fill with frozen margarita.

Makes 6 drinks

I don't know, they seemed pretty potent. They were the subtle ones where you don't taste the liquor so you keep drinking more!!

I am usually a rum girl (love my rum drinks) especially after a bad experience with some tequila shots many years ago, so I've been pretty cautious with margaritas. But I'm telling ya - these were AWESOME! They were as good as the ones we've had when we've gone out for them. AND easy to make.
