I got a great deal on a pkg. of wonton wrappers at the store yesterday.
Any suggestions on how to use them?
Thanks!

My friends mom used to brown up some turkey burger(cause it isn't greasy)and dice up some carrots and onion really small.Fry it all up and add it to the wrappers and roll up and then deep fry them.

Another way I have had them was cream cheese mixed with some imitaion crab meat diced up small and rolled up in the wrappers and sprayed with pam and baked.

Beside egg rolls I don't know what else?I am sure you will get all kinds of wonderful indeas form the ladies.

I purchased some and had a hard time trying to fold them, so I ended up making baked chips out of them. They are delicious. I just cut the wrappers into 4 triangles, spray a cookie sheet with butter flavored cooking spray, place the triangles on the greased cookie sheet, spray them with the cooking spray and sprinkle them with whatever flavor I want, then bake them at 350 until crispy. I have made ones with powdered sugar, cinnamon & sugar and my favorite for a savory taste I use garlic salt & parmesan cheese. MmmMmm BTW where did you get the deal on them?

I can tell you a recipe not to try... (not quite as helpful, but if you see this recipe, you will have been forewarned).
It had you put a slice of hard salami on a wonton wrapper and then bake it until the wonton was lightly browned. I think you put it in a muffin pan so the edges of the wonton went up slightly to create edges. It was promoted as the perfect superbowl finger food that guys would love. They were so greasy! They did not go over very well at all. The adults didn't like them because they were greasy and they were too "spicy" for the kids because of the salami.

I have seen people use with crab ragoon. I personal use them for pork pot stickers. Love them. I looked it up on the web. But if you want my receipe let me know. I also do them up and freeze them. Perfect for an appetizer or people that just pop in.

Kraft foods has a recipe that looks easy and yummy but I don't remember what it is. You could probably find it on their website.
