Red Lobsters Ultimate Fondue

1 cup velveeta, cubed
1 cup swiss cheese in small pieces
1 can Campbells condensed cream of shrimp soup
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teapsoon paprika
1 broiled lobster tail or 1-1/2 cups imitation chopped

Combine everything but the lobster in a medium saucepan and cook over low heat until melted, stirring occasionally. When melted, stir in the lobster meat. Garnish with diced red pepper, if desired, and serve with french bread.

Does anyone know if you can buy the lobster in a can? Or do you think I could just use the cream of shrimp soup?

I was sort of wondering the same thing. Or if I could substitue some of those imitation crab things or some other canned seafood. Or maybe that's what she meant when she said imitation? The imitation lobster?

I know you can buy lump crabmeat canned (Trader Joe's and Costco both have it) and it's really good.

I am sorry I did not see this until now.Yes I used the imitation crab or imitaion lobster meat and flake it up.You can get it frozen or in the section with the meats.
