This recipe was created to mimic my favorite drink at the ski resort. It is yummy and warm. You won't get tipsy from a few teaspoons of liquor.

Peppermint Patty
2 T sugar
3 t cocoa
Dash of salt
1 cup of milk
¼ t vanilla
2 t kahlua
1t creme de cacao
1t peppermint schnapps
Reddi whip optional

In large mug, mix sugar, cocoa & salt. Heat milk in microwave for 1 ½ minutes. Add to cocoa mix slowly. Add vanilla, kahlua, crème de cacao & peppermint schnapps. Add reddi whip if desired.

ok....so I amde these last night and they were deliscious!!!!

Even dh loved them which was surprising cause he's usually not a "minty" anything kinda person but it was a 5 star combo for sure!!!

Cool! I'm glad you enjoyed them. I had one when I made regular cocoa for the kids over the weekend. My husband skips the peppermint schnapps so I told him about the butterscotch. He enjoyed that... thanks for the idea.
