I am helping host a baby shower and one thing we thought of were little finger sandwiches. Anyone have any ideas for popular sandwich combinations?

My crowd at home usually like PB&J, so they are no help

Also, any other ideas for *different* finger foods to have would be appreciated!

What about tuna salad and chicken salad? Love my chicken salad with pineapple in it - yummy and moist and cuts down on amount of mayo needed...

egg salad actually is usually a hit
you can also do as mentioned w/ham/chicken/tuna salad

you could make the cucumber sandwiches(I believe the recipe is posted in appetizers)

You can also make reg ones with lunch meats...we did roast beef/swiss/and a homemade horsey sauce for my sisters baby shower and everyone loved it.

For my cucumber sandwiches I cut circles out of potato bread, spread with cheese and chive spread and top with thinly sliced cucumbers. yum and easy!

I also use tortilla with the same cheese spread with salami and roll it tightly and slice.

one of our favs. is : smoked turkey breast, havarti (or any other sliced cheese) cream cheese (instead of mustard or anything), avocado, and tomato. Those could totally be made into finger sandwhiches! In fact...that makes me hungry to think about! yummy!

I do this too. One easy combination is to use a packet of taco seasoning with a brick of cream cheese. Then, spread on the tortillas and add cheddar cheese, diced tomato, or whatever suits your taste. Roll tightly and then slice.

Grab your cookie cutters to make shapes with bread too.

i have a couple ideas for you:
make bite size cream puffs and fill them with chicken salad

cocktail sized rye bread with ham salad and american cheese

" " with a turkey salad that is made with basil aoli instead of plane mayo, i can give you the recipe if you want. and then put a little piece of swiss and cucumber on top
