im gonna have a choice between two types of warm booze while kids are out on halloween this year in an effort to meet new people in my neighborhood...no im not serving alcohol to kids, but to the parents for a quick little sip (and many more if they so desire)
we did this in my old neighborhood and alot of people wound up getting lawn chairs and parking it in their driveways or garages and having something to eat...so it was a moving buffet! how cool!
well one house in my old neighborhood always had a thing of hot choc. and baileys...YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
anyone have anything else simple for a warm drink? my mind is blank at the moment!

One of my favorites is hot coco with peppermint schnaups(sp) It's usually a Christmas party drink at our house, so I put a candycane in it & top with whip cream. YUMMM! smile.gif Also coffee & irish cream (although I don't like it tongue.gif ) I know Applebees has a hot drink menu in the winter...maybe you could go there & steal thier ideas laugh.gif

I found some on this website. I haven't tried any of them, but several sound really good! I think they're mostly for single servings, so you'd have to play around with the quantities. I want to live in your neighborhood too!

I like adding blackberry brandy to hot tea....it's also good for when you have PMS and colds so you can say it's multi-purpose HAHAHA laugh.gif ....and blackberry brandy to cranberry juice...it's better if it is cold, but not so bad warmed up either...
Also, this is a kick @ss coffee drink...
1/2 shot of each:
Kaluha
Irish Cream
Cream de Cocoa
Brandy
Amaretto
Mix all together with coffee.
It is very good, but go easy on the liquor...even 1 or 2 of those listed would be great in it....

If you want a kick (its can be as strong as you like but even weak in alchol strength its good) Irish coffee, make your coffee and sugar add whiskey then top it with lots of whipped cream and away you go.
This is interchangeable you can switch the whiskey for brandy, cointreau, or baileys
But the trick is the glasses have to be heated first before you put the concoction in. It tastes better that way!
I want to move to your neighbourhood smile.gif
