I made these last night and can't remember when I have been so pleased from a recipe. Would be great for parties.

Heroin Wings

4 lbs. chicken wings or drumsticks
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 T. dried parsley
1 T. dried oregano
2 t. paprika
1 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1/2 cup butter

1. Preheat oven to 350*
2. Combine parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, paprika, salt and pepper in a bowl.
3. Line a shallow baking pan with foil (VERY IMPORTANT! Do not skip this step!)
4. Melt butter in bowl.
5. Dip each piece of chicken into the butter, then roll in the season mixture and arrange on foil lined pan.
6. Bake 1 hour.

This is so easy and the wings are just out of this world. They are not “saucy” wings at all. They are very crispy on the outside and the chicken is oh-so tender on the inside. I served mine with ranch dressing and celery sticks but they really didn’t need any dipping sauce at all.

Thought I would share my experience. I made these twice the first time with fresh parmasean and the second time with the Kraft refridgerated stuff. The fresh really made a difference. Both were good, but the fresh was better. However, with the fresh the seasonings don't go very far - maybe covers a dozen large drumsticks and wings (the other way covered at least 20). I also found I didn't need nearly as much butter to dip. I cooked them from a frozen state at 375 degrees for an hour and they were still very tender.

This is now on my to keep recipes and work when in a hurry. Very easy to make and yummy. DH actually suggested I use the seasoning on skinless chicken breasts.
