OK, I don't know where to post this, but hoping someone can help, or refer me to someone that can. When I was little, and going to church camp, they had those little oyster crackers seasoned for snack. I can't figure out what seasonings was put on there, what the recipe is to make it. I just remember I could never get enough!!! If anyone has any idea what I am talking about, please let me know!! TIA!!!

There is a recipe on the back of the Hidden Valley Ranch Dry packet mixes box. I think all it includes is that, and butter.....go to your store and get a box, can't go wrong with it. Hopefully that's it...they are super yummy.

you use dry ranch dressing packet, bag oyster crackers, vegetable oil (just enough to coat all crackers), mix all together in bowel, throw on cookie sheet, and throw in oven at 375 till warm. my ds loves these!!

Here is my recipe for them that I have posted under appetizers. Hope you like it. I myself do not like anything with ranch, but these are yummy!!

2 bags of oyster crackers
3 /4 cup of vegetable oil
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch dry mix
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dill weed
1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash

Mix well oil and dry ingredients. In large mixing bowl, pour over crackers. Mix or shake 2-3 times. Let stand 30 minutes. Store covered.

I make them just like araefinn and sometimes instead of the ranch use chicken bollion powder and keep the rest of the ingredients the same.My Dh loves those crackers a lot.

Hidden Valley® Ranch Recipes :: Hidden Valley Oyster Crackers

I was looking for something similar to the Ranch Flavor Explosion Gold Fish Crackers and I would say that its somewhat compareable

We love these! My son always asks for them this time of year for some reason. This year I started them and realized I didnt have any lemon-pepper!!! SOOO....I sprinkled in some lemon peel and black pepper and they were great! These can be VERY addictive!

MomOfThreeMonsters-took a look at this recipe and it looks interesting. I like the idea of baking the crackers after you toss them in the seasoning and oil mixture.

I have done the same when I am out of lemon pepper and actually thought the lemon peel/black pepper mix was better! We love these crackers and ds thinks they are suppose to always be made at Christmas, for some reason!
