I have one child who comes home (at the end of the school year) with other kids/teachers unwanted school supplies. She somehow has become known as the person to give your school supplies to if you don't want them. she has come home with almost full bottles of glue, hilighters and dry ease markers. These were all in good condition for her to reuse them for the following school year. the dry ease markers are always on the teachers list so this year she will be bringing dry ease markers she got from a teacher who had extras and apparently didn't want to hold onto them. If you are unsure about bringing used supplies don't be. We often get a letter midyear for additional school supplies so you could always give them then. I usually tell the teacher so they can use them first.
