we have been at the same elementary for 5 years now and will be for another 5, at least that is the plan. I have noticed that our supply list for each grade changes very little from one year to the next. so I look at the next grade level supply list to see if there are any items that I may want to look for now when school supplies go on clearance.
For example I knew that all kindergarten need 8 ct classic color regular size crayons. the are normally very expensive but I was able to get them one year 4 for $1. I used them for 2 kids.
I know that 4th grade needs a flash drive so I can keep an eye out and get it as cheap as possible for next year. also I need 8 different folders and know from previous years that white folders are VERY hard to find. so I know to start looking now.
