I attend church with a young man who is a single Dad. In the past year, he has DRASTICALLY and MIRACULOUSLY turned his life around by the grace of God and now has custody of 3 of his children (he has four total). Two of these children are twin girls and they always wear the same short sleeved spring dress every service. I'm sure it's because he can't afford more. He's a good Dad as they're always clean, but tonight my heart felt compelled to help them so I thought of the bartering board first. The two little girls sat with us tonight so I casually patted one of them on the back and checked the size tag in her dress at the same time. Her tag says 5T, but it's getting a little short, so I'm almost sure she's ready to move up to a regular 5...and in a dress, the difference in a 5 & 6 isn't that big. I also was bragging on her shoes and telling her that my Abby has shoes JUST like that and checked the size in those as well...they're a 10 and fit pretty well. I'm sure they could use some tights as well...I'm also going to check the Dollar Tree for those.
I don't have alot in trade, but I do make the custom made korker bows and can also make socks to match. I can't really buy anything right now as we're also in a very tough financial spot, but I so want to help this family out. LMK what you have and what you're ISO and I will try to work something out with you for these items!
