ypu might want to call the local fire department. around here they give them away so kids are safe. just a thought! the SAFE KIDS campaign does it.......... the link is http://www.seatcheck.net/ look in your area.

I don't see anywhere that they give them out for free on that link..just free inspections. I would love to find somewhere that gave them out, as we need another one! Also, I DO know that some auto insurance companies will sell them for a reduced fee. USAA is one of them!

I work a car seat check and If someone came in with a real old car seat or one that was to small for their child we would go get a new for them a no charge. They just want the kids to be safe. They don't tell people they just do it cause they don't want people coming in and get a car seat and turn around and sell it.

You may already know this, but Babies 'R Us offers a twins discount when you buy two car seats. I believe it was for 10 percent off. I had to ask for it. HTH

Yes, it's 10% off each and then they will take R Us coupons too! SO I hopefully will save some!
