anniebananie I have a dh of 17 years, a son who is 6 and a daughter who is 3 (to whom we affectionately refer as Her Royal Highness).

I live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Central VA, near Mr. Jefferson’s University and Mr. Madison’s Montpelier. We grow great grapes and make great wine around here. I have many interests but little time to indulge them. I knit, I scrapbook, I shuttle my son to swim practice. I have a full time job (which is not an interest, but a necessity). I read every night before bed, as it is the only thing that really relaxes me.

What originally brought me to Mommysavers, many many moons ago, was the coupon forum. I found a group of women who had the same passion for paying as little for groceries as possible – I was in heaven! I then started to become more active on the boards, sometimes causing a ruckus because of my outspoken opinions. I had to take a break for a while due to work responsibilities, but I’m back now, so watch out! I don’t know if I have a favorite money saving tip, but my philosophy is simple: Do you need it or do you just want it? If you want it, then it can wait. If you need it, then buy it.

My name is Kelli and I'm SAHM in southern MN. I share our farm life with my DH and 4 girls. If you don't find me paper crafting or hanging with my kids, you will find me in the garden or kitchen cooking & canning. My sister in law turned me onto Mommysavers about 4 yrs ago and I quickly became addicted to the wonderful ideas on how to stretch a dollar (not to mention the great recipes & awesome ladies). My best money saving tip... "Shopping clearance is great, but not unless what you are buying has a purpose. Don't buy just for the sake of getting "a great deal".
