Out with the old ~ in with the new
In effort to make the bartering experience smoother for those involved we have made some changes to the bartering forum.
We are pleased to announce we’ve added an
“Approved Traders” group to MommySavers.
What does this mean? ~ Well there are two huge benefits that will come from this addition.
1.
Only members belonging to the “Approved Traders” group will be allowed to post on the bartering forum. This means that you can be assured that anyone replying to your post (or posting an item themselves) has gone through our approval process. Even though this will make the environment “safer”, remember Mommysavers is NOT responsible for any transactions and ALL trading is AT YOUR OWN RISK.
2.
Once part of this group, your post will not have to be “approved” before it shows up to the public. Though the forum will still be moderated, and posts will be reviewed, you will not have the “lag” time you have experienced in the past. Please remember that we are a board dedicated to " moms exchanging items WITHOUT money changing hands".
THERE IS NO SELLING.
How do I join this group?
Join within your User CP under "Group Memberships"
Your join request will be sent to a moderator
Membership is subject to approval of moderators based on board requirements (See Who may trade?

To all CURRENT Approved Traders:
If you currently show “approved trader” in your title, follow the directions to add yourself to the “Approved Traders Group”. Once your request is received by a moderator, you will be automatically added to the group. We are looking to implement this soon. Please follow the below directions ASAP so there are no posting issues for you.
To all NEW Traders:
If you are interested in becoming an approved trader, and have met the post requirement for the bartering forum, follow the directions above and add yourself to the "Approved Traders Group". Once your request is received by the moderators will we contact you for information we need to continue the approval process.
