I am a little freaked out .... please calm my nerves

I went online researching this and I am not finding the answers

I forgot I have my period!!! I mean, it's day 4 so the heavy flow is over and it's just minimal at this point. Anyway, my point is, I put in a tampon this morning (7am'ish) and just now remembered "Holy crap.....I should have changed this" (it's 3pm'ish). I think I am in the safe zone but was wondering anyway, how long is too long to have a tampon in?

You are fine. Once in a while is okay....and won't hurt you. Quit freaking!!!

I sleep with a tampon (no im not calling my bf a tampon, lol), I never had any problems.

I think you would be ok.. I sleep all night when I use them.

you'll be fine. tss is pretty rare. its not something that is common if it was there wouldn't be tampons to begin with. don't worry. i sleep with mine in and i have never gotten sick from it. you'll be ok.
