Can someone please explain to me what a "reverse crunch" is?

THANK YOU!

A reverse crunch starts out just like a regular crunch, except instead of lifting the upper part of your body you lift your butt up off the floor (by using your lower abs) Make sense?

Trust me, once you start doing reverse crunches, you can really feel a difference. It doens't have to be a big movement, just your butt off the floor a 1/2 inch or so...just make sure you use your abs to lift your butt.

I still haven't "really" tried them. I'm going to do them tonight & ask dh if I'm doing them right.
