I slowed it down a bit Monday night when I did D2 and that seemed to help. I also am not concerned about speed but I was just going to the beat of the music (I thought that is what I was suppose to do). I guess I will just have to pay more attention to what my body can do not what I think I should be doing.

Way to go Amy! Don't worry about your speed just keep going!!!
I got up and went for a 3.5 mile run here at my house - it was great hearing the birds and the bright sun. My time was not as good as I wanted. I find it is harder lately to push myself without anyone around me.

You ladies are awesome. I'm on week six, day one today. (I've repeated some weeks and walk only during TOTM ... I have endometriosis so it's a huge step for me even to be able to walk the 3 miles at 3.5 m/hr. that week each month).

I never thought I'd come this far! You all inspire me so much.

PS My knees feel sooooo much better this week since I started strengthening my quads before and after each workout. Thanks for the advice on that one too!

Good morning ladies!! Everyone is doing awesome!

My knees are also feeling better.. thank goodness.

I'm starting week 9 tomorrow. I will do my celebratory run for completing the series and running 30 minutes.

WEEK 9!!!!!!!!!!!

I almost feel like a runner now that I'm chugging out 30 minutes .

Wow, I can't believe I'm already here! Now, I'm on my own. I have to come up with a schedule to continue to challenge myself.

I've changed my goal to only lose 5 more pounds. I feel good about myself and that is allowed. I don't need to be "skinny".

Who Hoo! I'm proud of you!!! You inspire me that this can be done. I'm on day two of week 6 today and I had to really push myself to keep going this morning.

I know what you mean about not needing to be skinny. I've tried to make my goal reasonable to. I started with a BMI of 26.6 (overweight) and am working towards a BMI of 23.9. I'd like to be lower but I want to aim for a goal that is reasonable for my body and genetics.
