Hi,
Since I haven't heard from most of you... I'm assuming you are doing your own thing. Hope you are still doing your routine!

I checked in with Doozer this week and will continue to do that.

I'm entering Week 7 of the program. According to my log, I've been at this for 40 days. I'm running 20 minutes at a time. I will try to run 2 more minutes tomorrow. I'm supposed to run 25 but have decided to increase it by 1 minute increments for the next few workouts until I get to 25. My own little head game.

I started counting calories today. I went back to using the nutrition tracker on sparkpeople.

Hope you are doing well!!

I'm doing good and excited that it is going to be somewhat nice here this week where I can get outside for a run! It felt great to run on Saturday around my neighborhood! I need to go through my list of upcoming 5K races and actually register for them!

I would love to get to a point where I could register for a 5k!

The last and only time I've done a race was with a corporate team and it was only 1 mile. I didn't prepare for it and ended up doing a 8 minute run. I was mad because some of the guys who smoked finished ahead of me. I hate that !!

There is a 5K race this weekend that dh and I may do. We just don't know if we can find a sitter or not. We'll see how the week plays out!

I did 4.2 miles in 40 minutes today on the treadmill. There was quite a few times I felt like slowing down and just walking it but I kept pushing on. My goal for April was to run for 4.5 miles consistently. So I'm getting there -- going to map out 4.5 miles around my house and plan on doing that this weekend.

I highly recommend downloading podrunner intervals for your routine. It is a free download. I've used it for 8 weeks, it carries me through my runs. It follows the Couch to 5K program. There are also running podcasts for those already running.

Podrunner: Intervals - Free Workout Music from dj steve boyett
