anyone had one? I think that is what is on the underside of my toe.

do you know what they do for them?

it's funny cause I'm not afraid to have my tummy cut open to get babies out, but afraid of them messing with my feet!!!

I have one on my heel. Hurts terribly. The way they explained it to me is there is a tendon that runs across where the spur is and that when I walk it rubs on that spur so at night when I am not on it it starts to heal and then when I get up I screw it up all over again. And that is why it hurts worse when I first get up.

What they did was wrapped my foot in a bandage for a couple weeks which raised the tendon so it wouldn't rub. Then since it made my foot feel better they decided that shoe inserts would work for me. I also had to take an antinflamatory medicine. But after about $400 on inserts for my shoe my foot feels better. Then inserts wouldn't fit in most of my shoes, so what I did was wear the inserts non stop until my foot was healed, then now I only wear it if my foot starts to act up. I can't wear the inserts for long periods of time because they are like rocks and actually cause the rest of my foot to hurt. But I wear them for about an hour a day.

I think on really really bad spurs they give cortizone shots but I think that is really bad cases.
Good luck! I know how much pain you are probably in.

glad that you did not have to be cut open and at least maybe they can do something else.

the thing is, mine, if it is in fact a spur, does not hurt.... only when I mess with it. Maybe it is not one then?

It may be a corn or something. But if it is on your toe there may not be a tendon to rub across it. That is just because of where mine is located.

Good luck!
