In effort to try to get the kids into fitness this summer, I was taken back to childhood and an exercise program that we did in elementary school.

It was in 3rd or 4th grade ( say 1978-79 ish... ) and the teachers would get us together as a grade to do exercises to this song. It would run you through like 10 minuted of different exercises. *All I remember is that the words were something like...
" Touch your toes, every morning...
*ten times, *now let's go..."
Then some other words I don't remember....then the chorus ended with
"Go you chicken fat, go!"


I don't know anything other than that, but thought if I could find it again, the kids would love it. *Does anyone else remember this......or am I just cracked? *

I don't think you're cracked. Now that you mention the part about "Go you chicken fat go" that part does sound familiar. But sorry I can't help you. I'd like to know if anyone else does know.
