I did 44 last year, so I guess I'll shoot for 50. I only count books that I actually read, not things like cookbooks or organizing/frugal books that I just skim through.

I am in 2 different once a month bookclubs, so I will read at least 24 with that!

I would like to read one more a month that I picked, so that will be 36 total. Hopefully more - I LOVE to read!!

I already read one this month and am on my second.

If people want to than why not. Sometimes there is nothing better than to escape into a Harlequin that you can read in less than a day.

I read insanely fast and I read everything, but magazines and cookbooks etc won't be included in my count here. Also, I usually have 4-6 books on completely different topics going at once. Say an inspirational, current fiction, financial, child rearing, and a classic (like War & Peace). When is anytime I have 5 min. Usually during naps etc. And I always take a book anywhere I go.

I read 149 last year, and only 104 the year before, so I guess I could shoot for somewhere in the middle at 130. I am competitive, though, and will probably try to get over 149, just to best myself . I read really fast too, and I usually have several books around, since I use the library all the time (I have my masters in library science, and DH is actually our local library director). I usually read mysteries, general & historical fiction, and young adult fantasy/science fiction.
