Just started 'The Secret Life Of Bees' during DS naptime. I'm already 50 pages into it. Its interesting, something I thought I'd never read(this is why I joined a book club), but I do like it so far. I'm sure I'll put another 50 pages into it tonight!

She is a great author and I've loved her other books The Future Homemakers of America and Gone with the Windsors.

I read the Josephine B books by Sandra Gulland recently and it's turned me on to historical fiction....and like you, biographies!

I'm reading The Black Unicorn in Terry Brooks series. Brooks was recently in town for a book signing....I missed it but it made me pick up the books. Good, if you like sci-fi/fantasy.

Just finished True Compass by Ted Kennedy, I liked Last Lion a little better but if you are intersted in Ted Kennedy his memoir is worht picking up, now reading By a Spider's Thread by Laura Lippman

Finished The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks. Good book and typical for his books it made me cry.

I'm starting Evil at Heart by Chelsea Cain.

By a Spiders Thread by Laura Lippman, wouldn't recommend it, it was slow and the characters were just not likeable. Now reading The Big Z The Carlos zambrano story by Pedro Miranda

Finished the Carlos Zambrano book, it was good, way to short. Now onto Sweatheart by Chelsea Cain, it is a really fast read and really good so far, will be done quickly I can tell.
