I have to say the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. It was very sad, but so beautifully written.

The Last Juror by John Grisham. I love his southern legal dramas.

The Sugar Queen by Sarah Addison Allen. I love her quirky characters - I can't wait for a new book by her!

Most of my reading this year has been revisiting old favorites - J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy, Stephen R. Donaldson's Thomas Covenant series, Orson Scott Card's Alvin Maker series.

Chosen by a Horse by Susan Richards. If you are an animal lover, you will enjoy this one. It made me cry.

I LOVED The Help also. Greatest book I have read in quite a while. I'm reading The Girl With the Dragon Tatoo right now and it is another one you can't put down.

"Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett. It's a HUGE book, and I wasn't sure at first - but it was an incredible, multi-layered book with several major characters & different plot lines that crossed over years. Highly recommend.
