I love her books and am awaiting the next Merrie Gentry book in October. She has become one of my top writers that I read. I don't know many who read her, but her books are almost always checked out of the library when I'm there, so someone is reading her. Just thought I'd ask.

Yep, own them all. I can't wait for the next Merry book, either.

I adore her. I've read all of them and Anita Blake is my fav series. Did you know they made a comicbook out of them too? I won't read that though.

There are actually 2 graphic novel series of Anita Blake, but Laurell herself is only writing for one. I'm crossed about them, myself.

I haven't read anything by her, possibly because she is not in the genre of what i normally read. Is she a regency romance author or paranormal?
She has a huge following on the book site forum i visit.

She is classified several different ways, horror, romance, alternate history/reality or paranormal. Her Anita Blake series is about a strong female who is a vampire hunter and the Meredith Gentry series is about a private detective who happens to be half Sidhe (Gaelic for faerie). I love her and am reading The Harlequin (the newest Anita Blake) right now.
