I just started "Whistling in the Dark" last night. It's supposed to be really good, but I'm only about 3 or 4 chapters in so far.

I just started reading, "I was a really good Mom before I had kids". It is about Motherhood and the real truth about how tired we are and our quest for perfection. How we constantly feel overwhelmed with our ideals and responsibilities. It has some really funny stories from other Moms in it. For more info. and reviews, you can read about this book on Amazon.com.

"Next" by Michael Crichton; I've only read the prologue and the first page of Chapter 1, but so far it's good

I am re-reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte for the umpteenth time. lol Next on my list is The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Bronte. I love English literature, and the "classics."

Okay, well I finished this book and absolutely LOVED it!! It's told from the perspective of a 10 yr old girl (at least I think she's 10) during a summer when she & her younger sister are pretty much left alone to fend for themselves and how they draw support from neighbors and friends. There is also someone murdering girls around that age. So it's somewhat of a mystery, but mostly a coming of age story and illustrates how the love & support of family can make a difference in your life. Okay....did I say I LOVED it! I'd like to recommend this for our next book club book.

I read "The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Wall over Labor Day week-end and now I'm reading "Shatttered Dreams" by Irene Spencer.

Next on my list is either "The Girls Who Went Away" or "Plain Truth". I don't know what it is about fall, but I love to read this time of year!
