Will you or would you buy/read the new book written by OJ now that he will not profit a penny from it?

I heard an interview today on the radio (Bill O'Reilly) Ron Goldman's siblings - they explained why they did it. I was totally against it but now that I know OJ will not see any profit from it I am curious to read it. Ron's sister said that OJ described in great detail how he would have done the killing - he told it in the POV of the killer and gave details only the killer would have known like what was said to the victims. The family believes without a doubt it is his confession.

I probably shouldn't type what my opinion really is, as I am sure that I will get slammed. But I will say NO I will not buy or read this book, regardless of who gets the money.

No amount of money can bring back either of the victims.

Nope. Most of America already knows he did it, so it is no surprise he is "admitting" it.
And we know how it was done, by all the gorey details from the trial.

I feel super bad for both families and because this is America both have the rights to do what they like with free press. I won't judge either way, I have NEVER walked a mile in their shoes and hope to GOD I never have to.

Nope. I wouldn't spend a dime on it regardless of who sees the money....I saw the Goldman Father and daughter on Oprah the other day and I do understand why they bought the rights to it and I am glad he cannot profit off of it.

Did anyone see the cover of it yet? They re-worked it and it now says I DID IT in bright red letters and the 'if' is very little and grey inside the 'I'...making the title read "I did it" at a glance. It was on extra or inside edition or one of those the other night.

Absolutely NOT. It was already determined that OJ wouldn't receive any profits from the book. So they won that court case. That should have been the end of it. I think it is disrespectful to the victims and their families. It's still giving OJ recognition. I think it's just wrong.

Also, the public spoke last time about it. They blasted the news media and the publishers saying that they didn't want this kind of thing out. What kind of message does this give that the family of the victim DOES want it out.

Where are the profits going from this awful thing? Personally, I think they should be ashamed of themselves. Is this really how they want their son remembered? It's not going to bring him back. It says terrible things about Nicole. And, OJ is not going to jail for it even if it IS a confession. What's the point?

I caught a little of the story on Oprah. I thought I heard them say they are only getting 17 cents a book? I did hear them say OJ wont profit, but did I hear them right, they get 17 cents a book?
regardless, I don't understand why they would want that book out.
No way, would I read that book. I wouldn't even buy it to burn it.

Ok, maybe I wouldn't have gotten slammed after all. I thought more would say they would buy it to support the family, but then throw it away. I agree with a lot that has been said in this thread.
