I see on here that some of you read her books. I love her and I am trying to read all her books. The funny thing is once I start a book by her I litterally get sucked in and will read for hours. I hope I am not the only one who does this lol. I have gone to her page and got the list of all her books and so far I have read 6 of the 11 listed on her page. Has anyone read all her books. I am now on vanishing acts so I will be stuck reading for a couple days til its done then off to get the rest of them.

HAHAHAHA I did the same thing early this year! I have the list in my planner, and am working my way down it. I will be asking for a few more this christmas. She' absolutely wonderful, I can't believe I didn't know about her til last year! I just posted on that last thread that I've read 5 almost 6 of her's, with another one on the shelf of "to be read's" (and forgot one on that thread):
Vanishing Acts
Plain Truth
The Tenth Circle
The Pact
My Sister's Keeper
working on Mercy and have yet to read Keeping Faith.
Can't complain about any of them!

Since I started that thread, you probably already know I love her books. I'm just like you. I hate to start one of her books if I have a lot going on, because I know I'm going to get sucked in and spend hours reading when I should be doing something else. They make such great discussions because there's so much "gray"...you know...not black or white. I remember with My Sister's Keeper I kept discussing with my family how hard it would be to know what was the "right" thing to do if you were the parents. In most books I think there's a deinite good guy or bad guy, but in these you can see the good and bad in everybody and I always think....what would I do???

Aliadam, I always find myself crying in each and every book, I'm such a sap. But she really does have a way of drawing you in almost instantly (except with plain truth, it took me a while with that one--i started over three times, walked away, a year later started it again) and keeps you there, I find that really refreshing. So much that I have a hard time veering from her course of work, and to anyone else. I suppose I will do so when I've read all of hers. lol...or maybe I'll just read them all again!

I think the one that got to me the most (the one I read in less than two days) was The Pact. Some parents might not enjoy it, but it's such a great read. It's about two teens and one dies, and no one can conclude whether the boyfriend killed the girlfriend of if she killed herself....once you start that one, you won't be able to let it go. That's my favorite (if I really have to pick one). But honestly, i read the rest of them in less than a week at a time too, so either that one or vanishing acts was really good too. But do the pact next if you have it handy, you'll love it and hate it at the same time.

I don't currently have The Pact....guess I'll have to get that one too!! I have heard mixed things on that one. Some people love it and others hate it. I do have Vanishing Acts so maybe I'll do that next until I can round up the Pact.

The pact does get mixed reactions, but if you keep an open mind with it, you will love it. I got mine cheap at walmart for like $6.00. But go ahead with Vanishing Acts, let me know how Keeping Faith goes, I haven't read that one yet!

Salem Falls wasn't too bad. The Pact was good, but i had already seen the made for t.v. movie about it, so that kind of spoiled it for me. I have been wanting to read "Picture Perfect" but keep putting it off because of the reviews i have read about it on Paperbackswap.com. Her books have big waiting lists at our library too, ALL of them.

Never heard of her but today I asked a friend for a book recommendation so I can pick something up when I return my other books to the library, and she recommended "My Sisters' Keeper". Sounds like she must be pretty good.
