Found this list of Amazon's top 100 books for 2007. I was shocked at how few I'd even heard of!!! The only one I've actually read is the #1 A Thousand Splendid Suns and have to admit it was a WONDERFUL book. I currently have The Spellman Files here waiting to be read. And I've requested and am on the wish list for The Abstinence Teacher and Heart Shaped Box but haven't gotten them yet.

So how many of these have you read??? Surely someone must be doing better than me!!

Best Books of 2007: Editors' Top 100

Wow, i've never even heard of some of them! I did read #11 on the list. "The God of Animals" by Aryn Kyle. I thought it was a good book, but it surprised me that it was on the top 100 list, it was good, but i didn't think it was THAT good. KWIM?

I think it's considered Young Adult Fiction, but i read it anyway.I picked it up because it had a horse ranch for the setting.

I was noticing they had some pretty obscure stuff in there, but note that it's their Editors' Top 100, not their Bestselling 100.

How pitiful am I .......I feel like I read a lot. My bookclub will only read a book once it is out in paperback. I've read #3 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7) J. K. Rowling - I love the whole series!

On my list of books to read when they are in paperback:
#10 I Am America (And So Can You!) Stephen Colbert
#12 Schulz and Peanuts: A Biography David Michaelis
#23 The Age of Turbulence: Adventures in a New World Alan Greenspan
