It was a book called "Anyone You Want Me to Be: A True Story of Sex and Death on the Internet" by John Douglas.

It tells of a man who lured women from around America to have a relationship offline and murdered them. Not easy reading but very informative and thought- provoking.

Dracula by Bram Stoker. Yes the orginal one -- gave me nightmares for weeks.

The Stand, by Steven King is also kind of scary because I could see something like that happening.

"Crimson Stain" by Jim Fisher. True crime story about a mentally unstable (and untreated) Amish man who strangled and kicked his wife to death, then cut her open, ripped her internal organs out and stacked them next to her........all infront of his children.....parts of that book just creeped me out!

'Let's Go Play at the Adams' by John Saul (I think that's his name). It's about a group of children who hold their babysitter hostage and do unspeakable things to her. The eventually kill her. Very disturbing!
