Anyone have any reading goals or resolutions they want to share for the next year? Usually I read romance so I'm going to try and branch out more and try the book of the month.
My main goal is not to buy any new books until I've read what is in my stash in the basement.

I had a goal for 2007 to read 100 books. That is hard for me since I am a full time college student, work full time, and have two kids. This year I read 109 so far, so I met my goal!

Next year I am going to do the same!

I don't normally do resolutions. But I think some reading goals would do me good. My main one is to read part of my Bible everyday. I have been slacking on that. And then, My goal is to finish a few books that I really did like, but put down, and forgot about. Maybe to much intermet. I don't know. But I have at least 2 books that I need to finish.
I know. My goal is to actually read all the books in the house that I have not read yet. And then to get rid of most of them once I have finished them. Wether that be donating them, or trading them, so more people can enjoy them. Of course there are always some books I just can't get rid of.

I need to get back into the classics again. I've done so much non-fiction and children's books that I've kind of slacked off. Of course gardening season is coming and I love to read about that!

I read a book or two a week anyway, so I think that is enough. My goal is also concerning my Bible. I need to read more. I used to read every single day and lately it is more like two or three times a week. Not enough. So that is my 2008 reading resulution.

Oh my gosh, that's A LOT! I read one book club book per month, and then I try to read another of my own choosing. When I get that accomplished I feel good - and that's only 24!
