She is a forensic anthropologist that created Temperance Brennan as a character for books (inspired the Fox show Bones). I checked out Bones to Ashes, and didn't know if others like her books. I enjoy the show so I thought I would give it a try.

I love Kathy Reichs! She is a great author...I've read all her books so far. You don't have to read them in order, but I think they're better that way. I like her earlier works a little better than her more current ones.

The Show Bones is so very loosely "inspired" by Kathy Reichs, and her work as an anthropologist. They have nothing to do with the mysteries she's written. IMHO the show is terrible. I really tried to like it and just couldn't. I think all the "actors" could use some acting classes! LOL!
