I just finished this book, and it was a very good read. My DH had it in my stocking so it ended up in my "to be read pile". And I needed a mental break after A Thousand Splendid Suns.

It is a true crime story of an up and coming baseball star with some mental illnesses after not making it to the big leagues and gets wrongly accused of murder and is sent to Death Row.

It was very interesting to say the least, and if you are a John Grisham or True Crime Story lover, I would highly recommend it.

I have this in my enormous to be read pile too. I got it not long after it came out. But I need to stop just piling them and start reading more. I think I need to go on a book piling freeze next. Glad to hear it's a good read in case I ever get to it.
