there is no cut off as to how far you should go.
If your loved one has specific criteria for when they want end of life measures to be taken do you think you could do as they wished?
i would take it into consideration
Is it being selfish to go against their wishes?
no, maybe when your so made their decision, they did not have all of the options or new breakthroughs in medicine to make the decision. i believe those decisions are never black and white, there is a lot of gray area that you will not know until the time has come.
