This recipe is super easy

16 caramel candies-unwrapped
2 tablespoons milk
3/4 cup pecan halves-chopped and divided
1 package refridg. crescent rolls
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preheat oven 375*. Microwave caramels and milk for 1 1/2-2 minutes until caramels are completely melted. Pour into a well greased 8 inch round cake pan, sprinkle 1/2 c pecans over caramel. Unroll crescent rolls into one large flat square. Press perforations together. Mix remaining pecans, sugar and cinamon together. Sprinkle up on the dough, roll up dough. Cut rol into eight pieces. Place cut side down on cake pan. Bake 17-20 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately invert pan onto a serving plate. Spread remaining caramel over buns.

hey araefinn......first off good post........sticky buns rule!!!

but do you by chance have a preferance for your caramels......have ya tried the kraft ones???Honestly I think their the best for baking...I use those in my apple pies and stuff...they seem to melt alot smoother.

Just curious to see if you've tried em!!??

I have only seen Kraft caramels at any of my stores. I have never seen any other brand. Kraft caramels is just one of those items that I think you will get the best results with, kinda like Philadelphia cream cheese to make cheesecakes with. Just my opinion. But last time I made Caramel Brownies, I couldnt find them anywhere. So what I did was I used a tub of the caramel apple dip. It worked just as good. It took out one step of the recipe as far as having to melt down the caramles.

Now I don't feel like I'm cheating

I'll use caramel ice cream topping or chocolate syrup in recipes where you're supposed to melt things like that because generally it's faster, easier, cleaner, and cheaper.

Mmm, this sound good and easy. Thanks i'm going to try it. I've
got a recipe for sticky buns but i've got to go through the let the
bread rise and then let it rise again so I've been hesitant to make
it.
