oldest ds LOVES maraschino cherries!!!

1 1/2 c flour
1/2 c sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 bottle maraschino cherries,chopped
2 eggs
3 Tbs melted butter
1/2 c cherry juice
1/2 c milk,(mixed w/cherry juice)


Heat oven to 375.
Spray tine lightly w/pam.
Mix together dry ingredients....then add the cherries.
Mix eggs, cherry liquid and melted butter.
Add the dry mix to the wet mix til just combined.
Bake for 15 to 20 min.

I usually eyeball a spoonful of almond extract......(but I LOVE almand extract )


and yes treehugger.........I know I got it coming...(hahaha)....my Aunt gave me a recipe for making your own marascino cherries and I can't find it(ugh)...I'll have to get it again!!!
